all the rooms were reasonably large and outstanding with jacuzzi bath n sauna, had a quiet atmosphere. the staff was caring and very friendly and we could use wake up calls and ironing free of charge.

We liked that it had particularly good location by public transport to the city center: )

The residential location and service-oriented staff were the highlight of this fine stay. We had economy double room to ourselves with all the necessary amenities and bedrooms, for instance.

The location was comfy - within short walking distance to everywhere we wanted to go. Liked being next to a train station.

This hotel offers great value for money and attention to detail. The prices are reasonable, especially considering the convenient location in a quiet residential neighborhood. The rooms have all the necessary amenities, with some even featuring a private terrace. Moreover, the showers in the rooms are excellent, providing a refreshing experience.
No major complaints, everything was satisfactory.

Take care not to book the cellar rooms! There is a horrible smell of waste water and/or mildew. they obviously didn't ventilate the cellar room(s). This was even scarcely possible: there was only a emergency door with a little barricaded window, which was blocked (!) and a small window in the upper half of one wall. If you are claustrophobic: don't book! WiFi didn't work in the room.

Breakfast is excellent, very comfortable room, bathroom and furniture are "italian" in terms of design. Staff was friendly and helpfull. The area in which the hotel is situated is beautifull and quiet.

Unbeatable residential location near the center with the public transportation, a hill, and trastevere train and tram station. We were lucky to have outstandingly accommodating staff.

During my stay, I found the location of the hotel to be very convenient. It was easy to access nearby attractions due to its proximity to public transportation. The room I stayed in was clean, comfortable, and had everything I needed. The bathroom was well-maintained, and the service was excellent. The breakfast spread was impressive, offering a variety of tasty options. the hotel had useful amenities like a gym and a pool, which I enjoyed using during my downtime.
The only downside to my stay was that the air conditioning in the room wasn't as strong as I would have liked.

Il Villino is not really a hotel, it's a building where the rooms were transformed into hotel rooms. There is no reception. It's part of another Hotel called Villa Rosa which is situated 100 meters distance. Stayed in a triple room, number 5 ground floor, and toilet didn't have windows and neither a fan working. Smelly toilet.

Excellent location, close to Stazione Tranvestere. This is a train station direct to the Airport (30mins). This is also a tram stop which is a 10 minute ride to the city centre or you might as well walk to the city centre, which takes you about 30 mins. Clean room, clean bathroom, good Italian espresso machine in the hallway. Good value for money
The bed was way to hard!

I stayed at Il Villino for my trip to Rome and had a wonderful experience. The hotel is located in a peaceful area, but conveniently close to the tram station, allowing for easy access to the city center and top tourist attractions like Piazza Venezia and the Colosseum. The rooms were extremely comfortable, clean, and well-maintained. I especially enjoyed the delicious breakfast served on the pleasant terrace, which offered a great start to the day. The staff was incredibly friendly and helpful, making my stay even more enjoyable. I would definitely choose to stay at Il Villino again.
Nothing to be said. 😊

Our rooms were spacious and quiet. The coffee/tea making facilities and vending machines were appreciated. The beds were comfortable. A five minute walk to the tram and ten minutes into the city centre. The Il Villina is a lovely villa and we enjoyed a relaxing five nights in quiet, but close to the centre.
A slight sewage smell in the room. Not a good hotel for people who don't want a steep stairs climb each day to get to the tram. Breakfast is at the main hotel so you have to go out of the villa to eat.

Wow, what a find! This hotel exceeded my expectations in every way. the service was top-notch - the staff were friendly, helpful, and provided us with all the tourist information we needed. The attention to detail was evident throughout the hotel, from the fresh and contemporary decor to the immaculate rooms. Speaking of the rooms, they were not only comfortable but also had all the necessary amenities, including air conditioning, an excellent shower, and even a jacuzzi bath and sauna! And let's not forget the breakfast. The location of the hotel was also a major plus - nestled in a quiet residential area, but still easily accessible to the bustling Trastevere area and all the main attractions of the city. I would definitely choose this hotel again for my next visit to Rome.
Honestly, I couldn't fault a thing. Everything was perfect.
